Break Reminder App Plus A Micro

It has two kinds of breaks: a Normal break, typically for 10 minutes after 50 minutes of work, so you can move about and relax, plus a Micro break: a very brief pause of typically 10 seconds every 10 minutes, so you can remember not to tense up too much for long periods.

Each Time Out is announced via the screen slowly dimming, with related graphics materializing, and when the break is complete, it fades out again, optionally playing a sound.

So if you like, you can make it mostly transparent so you can continue reading while on your break.

Most breaks are 5 seconds, or 22 seconds to look at the horizon and stretch.

I have a couple of 5 minute ones, too, when I get out of my chair.

I have the screen in a happy color, and the text saying my goal for the day, or the question Are you spending this time on the task you want.

I thought I would hate being interrupted mid-thought, but since the thing I was doing, reappears on the screen a few seconds later, I can just keep on running but now as a choice.

I use very high volume voice to tell me to come back once a break is over, this way I can go have my break anywhere in the flat instead of staying near the computer room.
